OLD BILL BY BRUCE BAIRNSFATHER ROYAL WINTON GRIMWADES CREAMER EXCELLENT SEPIA IMAGES ON A CREAMWARE GROUND THIS WONDERFUL ROYAL WINTON CREAMER SHOWS ON ITS FACE AN ARTIST SIGNED 1915 CARTOON BY THE FAMOUS FIRST WORLD WAR CARTOONIST BRUCE BAIRNSFATHER (1888-1957). THIS FRONT CARTOON IS CAPTIONED, "WHERE DID THAT ONE GO TO?" IT IS SIGNED IN THE LOWER RIGHT HAND CORNER "B.B. BELGIUM 1915" THE REVERSE SHOWS A SONG BIRD ON BARBED WIRE WITH AN EMPTY RATION CAN BELOW. NO ONE COULD MISS THE SYMBOLISM OF THE SOUND OF WAR ON THE FRONT AND THE SOUND OF PEACE ON THE BACK.
